THE FILM SOLO BATMAN IS NOT FULLY DEVELOPED IN ARKHAM ASYLUM
Expectations are already “up to the clouds” for solo Batman film, which does not even have a script yet over. With Oscar winner Ben Affleck directing and co-writing the film with Geoff Johns, things are improving for the next adventure of the Dark Knight. Rumors have claimed that the film mainly be set in Arkham Asylum with a large gallery of villains of Batman, but now a new rumor suggests that the film will actually be much larger than a single building.
This new rumor comes from the self – proclaimed “Ace Scooper” Heroic Hollywood Umberto Gonzalez, who tweeted a revelation about the film untitled Batman in honor of the Day of Batman. Contradicting recent rumors, the film will take place entirely in Arkham Asylum. It will, as in most films, developed in a lot of different places, which that’s fine.Gonzalez has a decent track record by unveiling rumors, but there is always the possibility that he is wrong or that something will change in the long process of development. The films are rarely the way how they initially thought.
If the report is true, then that does not mean that there will be no scene in Arkham, just not be the only place in the entire film. The Arkham Asylum is not a place we’ve seen largely in any of the Batman movies, which would certainly help establish the film alone as something different and show us a corner of Gotham that we have not really seen.
The film solo Batman is already making people excited. There is still much we do not know about Batman in the DCEU and what happened to him before Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Who were their allies? Which ones villains has faced? This film is expected to answer these questions and clarify what exists in this new continuity. That alone is very exciting, and Ben Affleck at the helm of Batman could become something big.
