Toyota inaugurates the first engine factory in Brazil with US $ 170 million
It is the first manufacturing plant engines Toyota outside Japan to have all three production processes.

It should be noted that this investment generated 320 direct jobs. Plus it is the first engine manufacturing plant of Toyota outside Japan to have all three processes (casting, machining and assembly) in one place.
The new factory located in Porto Feliz, Sao Paulo, has the capacity to produce up to 108,000 units annually of Toyota engines of 1.3 liters and 1.5 liters equipped with Dual VVT – I, four – cylinder engine and Flex Fuel, where ethanol is mixed with gasoline.
It also has an innovative industrial process in terms of technology and a high level of automation in addition to an advanced testing laboratory, ensuring the highest quality of the engines produced in it.
